Jayne Rocks Bike Run For Cancer proceeds to benefit Haven Hospice, The Rocks Family and the Community Cancer Center of North Florida. Saturday, July 26th 2008. Registration starts at 10:30 am at SOB (Shrimps, Oysters and Beer Restaurant) in Newberry with all bikes leaving by noon. $10 donation per hand. The ride has six stops and travels through Dixie, Gilchrist and Levy counties ending at the Brick Grill (27675 SE HWY 19, Old Town). Stops: SOB, Newberry; Cole's 4 Corners, Bronson; Willard's, Morristown; Knuckleheadz, Chiefland; Brick Grill, Old Town. Live music by the Black Creek Band at 4:30pm at the Brick Grill. Prizes awarded to the best hand, door prizes and much more. Don't miss out on this awesome run and the chance to really help out your community! Jayne Rocks is a cancer survivor and loves bikes. Her husband, Keith, gave her a 1974 Harley Davidson, RH shift 1000 with a peanut tank and narrow fenders in April just before her surgery.
