For the second year in a row, Al Paquette Ministries has organized the Three Kings run to support the Anthony House. This year almost twice the number of riders expected came out to support this great cause with gifts of needed personal items and monetary donations. Porkies BBQ opened early to serve us a hefty breakfast of scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy and their famous smoked pork. After breakfast and a moving speech by Al, we headed down 441 for the Anthony House. As we arrived, we were greeted by dozens of smiling children and house guests. The kids made special "We Love Bikers" signs for us to show their appreciation of our visit.

The Anthony House is a spiritual based home that provides shelter and programs to help individuals and families that are homeless. Since their doors opened in 1984, they have served the Central Florida community and helped thousands of homeless guests get back on their feet to once again become self sufficient. A tour of the facility will show you their program isn't a free handout. Guests are required to take self development classes, maintain a job and contribute to the day to day chores of the property. Once a guest "graduates" and moves on to their own home, many return to volunteer and encourage others.

This ride was my third trip to the Anthony House and each time I visit I am more amazed by their special ability to reach people and truly make a difference. For more information on the Anthony House, please visit, www.anthonyhouse.org .
