Leather-clad biking vixen Lara Croft aboard her Yamaha TRX 850 in Tomb Raider has beaten several iconic biking scenes to become the number one rated motorcycle chase scene.

Tomb Raider out-ranked long standing favorites such as Steve McQueen’s race to the Swiss border in The Great Escape & Tom Cruise’s high-fuelled biking performance in Top Gun, special effects blockbusters The Matrix Reloaded and Terminator 2. Surprising omissions from the top five scenes also include Dennis Hopper speeding through the American desert in Easy Rider and a young Che Guevara, played by Gael García Bernal, making his way through South America in TheMotorcycle Diaries.
