What To Pack For Your Road Trip

Going on an overnight motorcycle trip? Here are some helpful hints for you to get the most out of your saddlebags.
- Pack light and for the occasion. Let's face it.you are not going to need your sport coat and fancy shoes. Remember jeans and t-shirts are standard issue for motorcycle events.
- Don't fold your clothes, roll them. They fit better and this helps keep the wrinkles out.
- Pack things in zip lock bags. This keeps the moisture out and gets you organized.
- Downsize your toiletries. Many drug stores sell inexpensive travel sized products like shampoo, soap, suntan lotion, etc.
- Pack things that you can wear more than once. No one cares if you wear your jeans twice!
- When loading your bike, make sure it's balanced. Try to evenly distribute the weight on each side of the bike.
- Always pack your rain gear and a jacket.
- Bring your insurance card, warranty info and tow service telephone numbers, just in case.
- Don't forget the camera! Disposable cameras are cheap, compact and are a great way to bring back memories from your trip.
